2 Weeks in the Life of a Professional Stand-Up Comedian

These last two weeks have been SO CRAZY!  I can't believe how fast time is flying nor can I believe how far I've already come (while still acknowledging, of course, how far I still have to go).

Here are my last 14 days by the numbers:

21: Number of shows performed in
8: Number of different venues performed in
4: Number of those 21 shows I co-produced
4 hours, 10 minutes: Total time spent on stage
29 hours, 45 minutes: Total time spent commuting to and from shows

And while all of this has been absolutely exhausting (I don't think I've ever passed out the way I did last night after my long day on set), it has been exhilarating and exciting and amazing.  I can't help but feel so fortunate to be able to wake up each day and do what I love.

I can't wait for the next 14 days!

Election Thought

Now that Obama's been elected our next president, we're going to have to rename the White House the "All Races Allowed House."

Tomorrow is a BIG Day!

Tomorrow, I find out the outcome of three important things (one is the election, one concerns a position, and one concerns an audition I have tomorrow).

I really hope they all go well tomorrow!
